What you'll do

• Oversee and direct the flow of air traffic in the Greenville airspace, ensuring safe distances between aircraft at all times.
• Communicate effectively with pilots, providing them with clear instructions and updates regarding weather conditions, flight paths, and any potential hazards.
• radar and other advanced technology to monitor aircraft movements and maintain situational awareness.

Requirements

• Valid Air Traffic Control (ATC) certification from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of three years of experience in air traffic control, preferably in a tower environment.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations and procedures as outlined by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely under pressure.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, maintaining composure during high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with radar systems and air traffic control software, with a willingness to learn new technologies as they emerge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
