What you'll do
You will support the delivery of treasury transformation engagements, including operating model design, process optimization, and governance framework development for demanding clients. You will analyze, enhance, and redesign cash management, liquidity forecasting, and working capital strategies to improve financial efficiency and resilience. You will assist clients in managing financial risks related to FX, interest rate, and commodity exposure while developing robust hedging strategies aligned with business objectives. You will contribute to commodity risk management advisory, including evaluating trading strategies, implementing controls, and strengthening risk frameworks to protect client positions. You will support the implementation and optimization of Treasury Management Systems such as Kyriba, FIS, ION, and Bond, along with payments infrastructure and bank connectivity solutions. You will assist in M&A and transaction-related treasury activities, including integration planning, carve-out assessments, and refinancing support to ensure seamless execution. You will prepare high-quality client deliverables, including diagnostics, business cases, and executive presentations that clearly communicate value and implementation pathways. You will participate in workshops and stakeholder interviews to assess current-state processes, identify gaps, and define target-state solutions that meet client needs. You will build strong working relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery that drives satisfaction and long-term engagement. You will leverage advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to structure complex treasury issues and develop practical, actionable recommendations. You will utilize proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and treasury-specific tools to produce accurate models, reports, and visualizations for decision-making. You will demonstrate proficiency in using AI and agent tools, including Co-pilot, to optimize ways of working and enhance productivity in advisory engagements. You will actively pursue professional certifications such as ACT, CTP, CFA, ACA, or ACCA to strengthen technical credibility and advisory capability. You will engage directly with treasury leaders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. You will contribute to the development of best practices and methodologies that enhance the quality and repeatability of delivery across the advisory practice.
Requirements
You must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred for this role. You must bring 2-6 years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance, consulting, or banking environments. You must have experience in one or more core areas, including cash and liquidity management, treasury technology, financial or commodity risk management, and treasury transformation or operating model development. You must demonstrate a strong understanding of treasury processes, financial markets, and risk management principles to perform at this level. You must have exposure to commodity markets, such as energy, metals, or agriculture, or trading environments, though this is not mandatory for consideration. You must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex issues and derive clear conclusions. You must have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence operating in client-facing environments and presenting to senior leadership. You must show proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with data analytics tools and treasury platforms to support analysis and reporting. You must demonstrate proficiency in using AI tools, including Co-pilot, and maintain a mindset focused on optimizing workflows through technology. Professional certifications, such as ACT, CTP, CFA, ACA, or ACCA, are considered advantageous for this position.
