Censys is on a mission to create the most comprehensive map of the internet, and we are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to enhance the narrative surrounding our Exposure Management solutions. In this pivotal role, you will transform intricate technical features into compelling value propositions that resonate with security professionals. Your contributions will play a vital role in how we present our products to the market.

What you'll do
- Develop and refine the primary messaging and positioning for our suite of Internet Exposure products, ensuring clarity and impact.
- Translate product specifications and market insights into engaging stories that can be easily understood by sales teams, marketing personnel, and customers alike.
- Spearhead the strategy for launching new products and features, with a focus on generating awareness and interest among target audiences.
- Collaborate with demand generation teams to convert foundational messaging into successful marketing campaigns.
- Provide the sales team with essential tools such as presentations and competitive analysis guides to enhance their effectiveness in the field.
- Engage directly with customers and sales representatives, including delivering presentations at industry events and supporting critical sales discussions.
- Gather and incorporate feedback from customers and the sales team to continuously refine our messaging and communication strategies.
- Maintain a consistent and cohesive message across all marketing materials, campaigns, and sales interactions to ensure alignment.
- Work closely with product, sales, content, and communications teams to prioritize messaging around the most impactful areas of our offerings.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, product management, solutions engineering, or a related field is essential.
- A solid background in cybersecurity is highly desirable, particularly in areas such as Exposure Management, Attack Surface Management, cyber risk, or similar security domains.
- Proven ability to craft clear and persuasive messaging for products that are technically complex.
- Experience collaborating closely with sales and field teams, with a strong understanding of enterprise sales processes.
- Comfort and skill in presenting to both technical audiences and senior executives.
- Ability to engage in technical discussions with credibility and authority.
- A comprehensive understanding of competitive positioning and the dynamics within the cybersecurity market.
Nice to have
- Experience in internet intelligence, internet infrastructure, or visibility into external attack surfaces would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with supplier security, security ratings, or cyber risk intelligence platforms is a plus.
- Experience in developing campaigns and demand generation programs based on product insights would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with both Product-Led Growth (PLG) and traditional enterprise go-to-market strategies is a plus.
- Comfort and adaptability in a fully remote working environment.

Practical notes
- The salary range for candidates in high cost of living areas in the US (such as San Francisco, Seattle, and New York City) is between $175,000 and $210,000 USD, with additional bonuses and equity options.
- For candidates located in other US regions, the salary range is between $155,000 and $171,000 USD, also with bonuses and equity.
- Compensation for international applicants will be determined based on local market data.
