What you'll do
- Lead the creative development of multiple projects, ensuring that all content aligns with Catface's brand and vision.
- Collaborate closely with writers, directors, and producers to develop scripts and storylines that engage and captivate our audience.
- Manage the production timeline and budget, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Supervise the casting process, working with talent agents to select the best actors for each role.
- Provide constructive feedback during script revisions, rehearsals, and post-production to refine the final product.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment among the creative team, encouraging new ideas and approaches to storytelling.
- Liaise with marketing and distribution teams to strategize on promotional efforts and audience engagement initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and audience preferences to ensure that our content remains relevant and appealing.
- Represent Catface at industry events, networking with other professionals and promoting our projects.
- Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers.
- Conduct regular meetings with the production team to assess progress and address any challenges that arise.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to production and distribution.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Showrunner or in a similar leadership role within the television or film industry, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous projects, demonstrating a range of storytelling styles and formats.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of creatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
- In-depth knowledge of the production process, from script development to post-production.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools used in scriptwriting, editing, and project management.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- A deep understanding of audience demographics and market trends in the entertainment industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and challenges.
