What you'll do
- Architect, develop, and sustain responsive web interfaces and high-conversion landing pages optimized for performance and accessibility.
- Convert complex Figma design specifications into pixel-perfect, functional frontend implementations using modern tooling.
- Define and enforce coding standards, conduct rigorous code reviews, and mentor peers to elevate overall engineering quality.
- Own the testing strategy, observability stack, and continuous deployment pipelines for critical web applications.
- Partner closely with product, design, and backend teams to streamline user workflows and ensure cohesive product experiences.
- Engineer scalable, resilient backend systems and APIs that empower adjacent product teams to ship features rapidly.
- Implement robust privacy controls and data minimization practices directly into the application layer.
- Optimize frontend bundle sizes, rendering performance, and Core Web Vitals to ensure a seamless mobile web experience.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to maintain high availability for user-facing services.
- Drive technical decision-making regarding framework upgrades, state management patterns, and architectural trade-offs.
- Collaborate on internal tooling and developer experience improvements to accelerate iteration velocity across the organization.
- Contribute to security audits and threat modeling exercises specific to telecommunications attack surfaces.
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of professional full stack software engineering experience in production environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript and the React ecosystem, including hooks, context, and modern state management libraries.
- Strong command of Go for backend development, including concurrency patterns, standard library usage, and service design.
- Demonstrated history of designing intricate user interfaces with a relentless focus on usability, accessibility, and interaction design.
- Solid grasp of fundamental data structures, algorithms, and web framework internals (rendering lifecycle, networking, caching).
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive technical projects from specification through deployment with minimal oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration in a hybrid work environment.
Nice to have
- Prior exposure to cryptographic primitives, protocols, or privacy-enhancing technologies such as zero-knowledge proofs or secure multiparty computation.
- Experience with telecommunications protocols (SIP, Diameter, SS7, 5G core) or mobile network architecture.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Background in building developer-facing platforms, SDKs, or API products consumed by external partners.
- Contributions to open-source projects focused on privacy, security, or web performance.
