What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end management of client initiatives in academic environments, guiding projects from initial intake through successful deployment and adoption.
• Map intensive intake sessions with stakeholders to clarify project goals, constraints, and expectations for higher education implementations.
• Architect future-state process flows that optimize the alignment between technology capabilities and institutional policy requirements.
• Coordinate iterative review cycles with campus functional and technical teams to refine solutions and validate design assumptions.
• Ship technical configurations and process documentation that meet agreed timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Guide partners through structured change activities to ensure smooth adoption and sustained value realization from the implemented solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive workflow assessments to uncover operational gaps and identify opportunities for process modernization and efficiency gains.
• Test integrated systems, procedures, and user workflows rigorously to verify functionality, performance, and readiness for production.
• Support partner organizations during transitional phases, assisting teams as they move to new operating models, tools, and methodologies.
• Apply PMI project management principles and adapt CampusWorks' proprietary methodology to suit specific client contexts and academic landscapes.
• Balance competing priorities such as rigid schedules, evolving stakeholder expectations, and the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders to guarantee alignment, transparency, and project success throughout the engagement.
• Collaborate closely with both client functional and technical teams, as well as CampusWorks colleagues, to evaluate processes and design optimal future-state workflows.
• Work extensively with academic institutions to maximize the value of their human, financial, and technological resources.
• Embrace a hybrid work arrangement that may require frequent travel to client locations and a physical presence near client sites when necessary.

Requirements

• Hold at least 2 years of demonstrated experience in managing projects within complex and dynamic environments.
• Exhibit clear communication skills when engaging with diverse stakeholders across hierarchical and functional boundaries in academic settings.
• Demonstrate a firm grasp of project management frameworks and structured delivery approaches to guide initiatives effectively.
• Adapt established project management methods to meet specific client needs without compromising established quality expectations or standards.
• Show a willingness to travel frequently as part of the consultant role, with a hybrid presence near client locations required when the engagement demands it.
• Possess the ability to analyze intricate academic processes and translate them into streamlined, policy-compliant workflows.
• Display strong problem-solving capabilities to navigate institutional complexity and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
