What you'll do

• Assist in conducting keyword research to identify high-potential search terms and phrases that align with our business objectives.
• Support the development and execution of on-page SEO strategies, including optimizing meta tags, headings, and content for targeted keywords.
• Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly blog posts, articles, and landing pages that engage our audience and improve search rankings.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Help in the implementation of link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and improve search engine rankings.
• Participate in competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the industry that can inform our SEO strategy.
• Assist in maintaining and updating the company's website, ensuring that all content is optimized for search engines and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain effective and competitive.
• Support the team in preparing reports on SEO performance metrics, highlighting successes and areas for growth.
• Engage in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas for improving our digital marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as social media and design, to ensure a cohesive approach to online marketing.
• Take part in training sessions and workshops to enhance your SEO knowledge and skills throughout your internship.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices, with a willingness to learn more.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in digital marketing, even if through internships or academic projects.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS, which can be beneficial for on-page optimization tasks.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Joomla.
• Understanding of social media marketing and its relationship with SEO.
