C3 Ai is actively searching for seasoned strategic leaders to fill the Director and Senior Director positions within our Strategic Solutions organization. This specific role is defined as a quota-carrying sales position where you will be responsible for identifying and securing high-value AI initiatives for some of the world's largest enterprises. Your primary mission will be to act as a critical liaison, translating intricate AI methodologies into clear strategic pathways that directly address and solve complex business challenges. You will own the end-to-end strategic sales cycle, guiding clients from initial discovery through the implementation of transformative digital roadmaps. Success in this position will require you to build and leverage deep trust with executive-level decision-makers across global organizations. You will be expected to not just meet but exceed strict sales quotas by uncovering and capitalizing on expansion and upsell opportunities. Ultimately, your work will drive the adoption of C3 Ai's enterprise software, ensuring clients achieve measurable business outcomes from their AI investments.

What you'll do
- Spearhead consultative engagements with Global 1000 clients to architect and execute bespoke digital transformation strategies centered on AI adoption.
- Cultivate and steward long-term strategic relationships, ensuring alignment between client operational goals and C3 Ai's technological capabilities.
- Architect and oversee comprehensive customer engagement plans that detail milestones, value realization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Perform in-depth research to identify, qualify, and build compelling business cases for new prospects within target accounts.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales, product, engineering, and marketing teams to refine and shape future product offerings based on market feedback.
- Act as a key external representative in business development initiatives, fostering partnerships with alliance partners to drive co-sell opportunities.
- Lead the execution of strategic account sales, managing complex deals and overseeing ongoing customer success to ensure retention and growth.
- Commit to significant travel obligations, requiring presence at client locations as needed, potentially up to 50 percent of the time or more.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to continuously refine the strategic solutions pitch for maximum relevance and impact.
- Guide clients through the entire adoption lifecycle, from initial concept validation to full-scale deployment and optimization of C3 Ai software.
- Translate highly technical AI and machine learning functionalities into clear business value propositions for non-technical executive stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed strategic account plans that outline growth paths, risk mitigation, and cross-sell strategies for key accounts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in AI strategy, advising clients on best practices for data integration and operationalizing advanced analytics.
- Champion the C3 Ai platform internally and externally, ensuring the messaging consistently reflects the highest standards of thought leadership.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, science, or a related technical field that provides a foundational understanding of complex systems.
- Bring prior experience in management consulting or sales consulting, demonstrating a proven track record in advising enterprise clients.
- Possess the unique ability to deconstruct complex technical concepts and articulate them in simple, actionable business terms for leadership teams.
- Exhibit strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to manage multiple high-stakes initiatives concurrently.
- Be authorized to work in the United States without the need for company sponsorship, ensuring immediate onboarding and deployment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and a results-driven mindset that thrives in fast-paced, quota-exceeding environments.
- Show resilience and adaptability when navigating complex enterprise sales cycles and stakeholder management.
- Maintain a strict adherence to confidentiality and professional standards when handling sensitive client and company information.
