About the role
You will own the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives within the Federal Health sector, focusing on HHS, VA, and DHA customers. This role centers on establishing new enterprise-level relationships and expanding existing partnerships through consultative selling of C3 Ai's platform and applications. You will be responsible for identifying and driving high-value digital transformation opportunities that leverage AI and machine learning capabilities. The position requires close collaboration with internal technical and product teams to architect solutions that address complex client challenges. You will translate intricate business and technological concepts into clear strategic narratives for senior executive stakeholders. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to build trust, manage sophisticated pipelines, and close strategic engagements. You will also play a key role in shaping the long-term strategic account plans that define market penetration and adoption for C3 Ai within the government health ecosystem.

What you'll do
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that targets key decision-makers within Federal Health agencies to secure enterprise-wide engagements.
Establish new customer relationships through proactive prospecting, stakeholder mapping, and precise opportunity closing within the HHS, VA, and DHA verticals.
Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities that forecasts accurately and supports aggressive business unit growth objectives and quota attainment.
Consult with Federal Health sector clients to help them understand, structure, and implement comprehensive digital transformation strategies aligned with C3 Ai capabilities.
Engage in high-level strategic dialogues with senior leadership to ensure the realization of defined digital transformation goals and measurable business outcomes.
Develop, maintain, and manage the implementation of multi-year strategic customer engagement plans that align with public sector procurement cycles.
Establish a forward-looking strategic sales plan by conducting deep research to identify emerging customer prospects, target accounts, and unmet needs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, products, and marketing teams to develop and refine new product offerings for existing and new lines of business.
Represent C3 Ai in the marketplace by driving business development initiatives and nurturing relationships with key company alliance partners and ecosystem providers.
Personally engage in strategic account selling, business development, and ongoing customer success to ensure high levels of adoption and retention.
Travel to customer sites and industry events up to 30% of the time, or more, depending on the strategic needs of the business and critical deal cycles.
Perform detailed competitive analysis to position C3 Ai's AI and machine learning solutions against alternative platforms and incumbent vendors.
Leverage data analytics and evidence-based insights to build compelling business cases that demonstrate ROI and operational efficiency for federal clients.
Adapt selling methodologies and communication strategies to navigate the unique complexities of the public sector decision-making environment.
Champion the C3 Ai brand by delivering thought leadership and value-based messaging that differentiates the company in the enterprise AI space.
Requirements
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or at any time during the employment with C3 Ai.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, computer science, or a related technical field of study; a Master's degree or MBA is strongly preferred.
Candidates must have a proven track record of success in sales, specifically focused on selling Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to the Federal Health Sector.
Candidates must have a proven track record of establishing new customers and introducing new technologies into the Federal Health ecosystem, including interactions with HHS, VA, and DHA.
Candidates must have a deep and thorough understanding of the federal procurement process, including familiarity with contracting vehicles such as GSA Schedule, GWACs, and IDIQs.
Candidates must demonstrate deep knowledge of Artificial Intelligence technology, data analytics, and data integration concepts and their practical applications within the government sector.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in building and maintaining high-trust relationships with senior-level decision-makers and influencers across multiple federal agencies.
Candidates must possess experience with, or a deep understanding of, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies, architectures, and use cases.
Candidates must exhibit exemplary written and oral communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical subjects for diverse audiences.
Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate client needs and design effective technical and business solutions.
Candidates must have a background in sales consulting or management consulting, with direct experience in the technology sector being highly advantageous.
