About the role
Bybit is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the strategic growth and daily management of our digital asset custody operations. You will act as the primary owner for our custody product, balancing infrastructure decisions with market positioning to serve our institutional client base. In this capacity, you will direct the scaling and strategic development of digital asset custody solutions while managing the end-to-end product lifecycle. The role requires coordination with banks, sub-custodians, third-party custodians, and wallet providers to establish robust asset flows. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to define technical requirements for token support, MPC, whitelisting, and settlement models. Furthermore, you will design and execute client-facing workflows, including reporting, audit, segregation, and onboarding to ensure operational excellence. Finally, you will assist the business development team in creating commercial proposals and pitching custody services to institutional clients.

- Design and execute comprehensive client-facing workflows, including reporting structures, audit procedures, segregation mechanisms, and onboarding processes.
- Assist the business development team in creating commercial proposals and pitching custody services to institutional clients with tailored solutions.
- Track custody performance metrics such as transaction volume, AUC, and SLAs to provide clear reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain awareness of compliance, technical, and regulatory shifts impacting digital asset custody to ensure proactive adaptation.
- Establish and monitor key operational indicators to drive efficiency and reliability across custody services.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align custody operations with broader business objectives and technical roadmaps.
- Implement best practices in digital asset security and operational resilience to protect client assets and ensure continuity.
- Lead process optimization initiatives to streamline custody workflows and enhance client satisfaction.
- Provide strategic oversight of wallet technologies and settlement infrastructure to support seamless transaction processing.
- Act as a central point of contact for stakeholders requiring insights into custody performance and operational integrity.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, Math, or a related discipline as a foundational qualification.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in digital asset servicing, blockchain operations, or crypto custody within a professional environment.
- Bring experience working within top-tier financial institutions or cryptocurrency exchanges to understand high-standard operational frameworks.
- Exhibit deep knowledge of blockchain transaction mechanics, wallet technologies, settlement infrastructure, and custody solutions to guide strategic decisions.
- Show familiarity with both Web3-native custody innovations and traditional finance custody controls to bridge technological gaps.
- Maintain fluency in English to ensure clear communication with global teams and stakeholders.
- Operate with a high level of organization, security awareness, and self-motivation to manage sensitive operations independently.
- Adhere to strict compliance and regulatory standards relevant to digital asset custody in multiple jurisdictions.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and mitigate risks proactively.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business development, to achieve shared goals.
