About the role
We are seeking a Senior Card Operations Manager to join our dynamic Card / Payment Business Expansion team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the commercial operations of our card programs across multiple regions. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing vendor relationships, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation, and facilitating capital injection processes. You will work closely with both internal teams and external partners to drive operational excellence and scalability in our card operations.

What you'll do
- Oversee the complete process of invoice reconciliation and payment requests related to card business vendors and external partners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Scrutinize invoices against contractual agreements and transaction data to uncover discrepancies, incorrect charges, and potential revenue opportunities.
- Address and resolve billing issues with vendors to maintain precise financial reporting and support effective cost allocation.
- Manage daily communications with Visa and Mastercard, utilizing their program management portals to ensure smooth operations.
- Initiate, monitor, and manage projects and cases with payment networks for product launches, BIN configurations, program modifications, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and submit change requests to BIN sponsors and card processors for the introduction of new card features, transaction controls, and security settings.
- Coordinate responses to inquiries, mandates, and program assessments from payment networks, ensuring that internal approvals are obtained promptly.
- Maintain the relationship with the card personalization vendor, overseeing card stock orders, lead times, and delivery logistics across various regions.
- Collaborate with the personalization vendor on the design of new cards, carrier artwork, and fulfillment specifications.
- Track and reconcile costs associated with personalization and card stock against the established program budgets.
- Lead the Know Your Business (KYB) and vendor onboarding processes for Bybit card entities, ensuring compliance and thorough vetting.
- Assist in preparing financial projections and business cases for new vendor partnerships, contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Support the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of commercial terms in collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
- Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initial screening to internal approval and final execution.
- Provide support to senior team members in card program operations, including systems related to Mastercard Connect and Visa.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.
- Offer assistance for ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and cross-functional projects as needed.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in card operations, payment processing, fintech, or financial operations is essential.
- A solid understanding of card payment systems, interchange fees, billing logic, and vendor management is necessary.
- Proven analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively while thriving in a fast-paced, global work environment.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, and financial reconciliation tools is required.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.

- Familiarity with Mastercard Connect or Visa systems would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in additional languages, such as Spanish or Portuguese, is a plus.
