What you'll do
- Collaborate closely with project managers to develop detailed project plans, outlining scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring that milestones are met and that projects stay within budget.
- Facilitate communication among team members, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Assist in the procurement process by coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and manage contracts.
- Conduct site visits to assess project status, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
- Organize and lead project meetings, documenting discussions and action items to keep the team aligned and focused.
- Utilize project management software and tools to track progress, manage schedules, and report on project performance metrics.
- Support the financial management of projects by tracking expenses, processing invoices, and preparing budget forecasts.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges that may arise during project execution.

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination or a related field, preferably within the construction or real estate sector.
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear and concise information sharing among stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A solid understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in project documentation and reporting.
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset, given the company's operational context in Quebec.
