Engineering Manager, Data Streaming
Job description
About the role
This position leads the Data Streaming team, a group of platform and reliability engineers focused on the development and maintenance of a managed data streaming platform. You will manage the product lifecycle of this infrastructure, ensuring internal teams can deploy streaming features without managing underlying systems. In this role, you own the end to end delivery of streaming capabilities, acting as the primary interface between the platform and the broader engineering organization. You are responsible for translating operational needs into a coherent product vision that scales reliably across the company. The position requires you to balance strategic architectural planning with hands on technical guidance. You will foster a culture of automation and self service to reduce friction for developers consuming streaming services. Ultimately, this role ensures that data streaming becomes a core business enabler rather than a bottleneck.
