Senior Product Manager, Demand Growth
Job description
About the role
Senior Product Manager, Demand Growth Opportunity
Position Overview
This position centers on architecting demand generation systems for a leading travel convenience platform. The role owns the strategic intersection of user acquisition and conversion optimization, transforming behavioral data into scalable growth initiatives. You will manage a full product lifecycle, guiding concepts from initial hypothesis through validated implementation. Success requires fluency in both high-level strategy and granular execution, ensuring all efforts directly contribute to gross merchandise value expansion. The position is built for a collaborative environment that moves with speed and purpose.
Key Responsibilities
You will architect and scale the primary demand surface, carefully balancing investments between new user acquisition and existing user conversion. Leadership of the Acquisition Pod is central to this role, requiring you to enhance how users discover the platform. This involves refining search engine presence, optimizing AI-driven discovery channels, structuring paid media touchpoints, and developing strategic partnership integrations. Every initiative must be designed to improve the quality of traffic entering the system.
Concurrently, you will lead the Conversion Pod, focusing heavily on conversion rate optimization (CRO) across all user touchpoints. This responsibility involves a deep dive into the end-to-end booking journey, from initial landing to final confirmation. You will identify friction points, streamline digital workflows, and reinforce booking intent. The goal is to maximize conversion performance and ensure efficient capture of user intent across web and mobile applications.
Translating the broader growth strategy into tangible product actions is a core function. You will partner directly with engineering, design, data science, SEO specialists, and performance marketing teams. This collaboration ensures the delivery of technical solutions, from landing page architecture to complex checkout flows. You will define and manage experimentation roadmaps, implementing A/B and multivariate tests to validate hypotheses. The focus is on creating scalable landing page infrastructure and geo-targeted funnels that align with specific go-to-market plans for individual cities.
A critical part of the role involves developing a profound understanding of the traveler journey. You will map how users discover the platform and pinpoint where intentions form or dissolve. This insight drives decisions regarding geospatial experiences, particularly around transportation hubs and zones with high commercial intent. You will use quantitative analysis and qualitative research to uncover behavioral insights. These findings will then be converted into clear strategic priorities and a concrete product roadmap.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must bring prior experience as a product manager within a growth-centric environment. Proven success in owning both acquisition and conversion metrics is mandatory. A strong background in conversion rate optimization and experimentation frameworks is essential. You must have a history of designing tests that yield clear, data-backed decisions and measurable business outcomes.
Deep knowledge of search engine optimization and discovery mechanics is required. You should have a track record of collaborating with content and engineering teams to build large-scale acquisition surfaces. Mastery of full-funnel metrics is non-negotiable; you must be equally comfortable managing traffic, user activation, conversion rates, and gross merchandise value.
The ideal candidate operates with a high degree of data literacy. You must be capable of running your own analysis, interpreting complex results, and converting findings into distinct product directions. Experience with location-centric user interfaces, particularly within travel or marketplace sectors, is a significant advantage. You thrive while operating autonomously yet maintain a commitment to close cross-functional collaboration.
