What you'll do

• Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with Bamboohr's strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business analysts, to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and performance, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success and identify areas for improvement.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any concerns or roadblocks that may arise.
• Implement risk management strategies to proactively identify potential challenges and develop contingency plans to mitigate impacts on project timelines.
• Ensure that all project documentation is maintained accurately, including project charters, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and incorporating lessons learned into future projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform project decisions and drive innovation within the organization.
• Coordinate with external vendors and partners as necessary, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and that deliverables align with project goals.
• Support the onboarding and training of new team members, sharing best practices and methodologies to enhance team performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role within the technology or fintech industry.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, and the ability to adapt them to fit project needs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Jira, Trello, or Asana, to facilitate project tracking and collaboration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation and effective time management.
• Familiarity with financial technologies and digital asset management is a plus.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
