What you'll do

• Lead the design and implementation of robust software architectures that support complex business requirements.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate user needs into technical specifications and actionable tasks.
• Develop high-quality code using modern programming languages and frameworks, ensuring best practices in software development are followed.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues, ensuring optimal application functionality.
• Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to enhance team collaboration and project delivery.

• Document technical specifications, system designs, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and improve application reliability.
• Engage with clients to gather feedback and understand their evolving needs, ensuring our solutions remain aligned with their business goals.
• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the engineering team by providing insights and recommendations based on your expertise.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on web and application development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, along with experience in frameworks like React, Angular, or Spring.
• Solid understanding of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role, particularly in understanding and addressing client requirements.
