What you'll do

• Design and develop electrical systems and components for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the viability of proposed electrical designs.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and test plans, to support project development and implementation.
• Perform simulations and modeling of electrical systems to predict performance and identify potential issues before physical prototyping.
• Oversee the testing and validation of electrical components and systems, analyzing data to ensure they meet design specifications and performance criteria.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during the design, testing, and implementation phases of projects.
• Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering technologies and methodologies, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes and processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a product development or design role.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuit design, and power distribution.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with testing and validation processes for electrical systems and components.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
