What you'll do
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the viability of proposed electrical designs.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and test plans, to support project development and implementation.
- Perform simulations and modeling of electrical systems to predict performance and identify potential issues before physical prototyping.
- Oversee the testing and validation of electrical components and systems, analyzing data to ensure they meet design specifications and performance criteria.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during the design, testing, and implementation phases of projects.
- Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering technologies and methodologies, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes and processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.
- Participate in project meetings, presenting technical information clearly to stakeholders and contributing to project planning and execution.
- Ensure that all engineering practices adhere to safety standards and best practices, promoting a culture of safety within the team.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a product development or design role.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuit design, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with testing and validation processes for electrical systems and components.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Experience with renewable energy systems or electric vehicle technology.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and programming languages such as C/C++ or Python.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
