Reliability, scalability, and security for global financial transactions are ensured by this role. Close collaboration with engineering and operations enables rapid product delivery while maintaining system stability.
Software engineers turn product ideas into working code. Engineers work in small teams, review each other's work, and ship in small batches. What you'll do
Automated deployment workflows are established and maintained to accelerate releases across environments.
Product delivery speed is supported in partnership with backend, mobile, and security engineers while meeting compliance requirements. System reliability and uptime are strengthened through led incident response, conducted post-mortems, and driven improvements.
Containerized workloads are operated using Docker and Kubernetes on EKS or GKE.
Requirements
The posting states a bachelor's degree requirement. Hands-on DevOps or SRE experience of 6+ years in a cloud-native environment is required. AWS proficiency across EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, and Lambda is required; GCP experience is a plus.
Kubernetes expertise is required for cluster management, deployments, autoscaling, and networking. CI/CD tooling proficiency with GitHub Actions, CircleCI, ArgoCD, or equivalent is required. Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform is required, and Pulumi or CDK are acceptable.
Comfort in a Linux/Unix environment with strong scripting skills is required. Observability stack experience with Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar is required. A strong security mindset covering secrets management, IAM, and network hardening is required.
Thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment with a high ownership bias is required.
Nice to have
Experience in fintech, payments, or regulated industries with PCI-DSS and SOC 2 is nice to have. Familiarity with service mesh technologies such as Istio and Linkerd is nice to have.
Exposure to multi-region or multi-cloud deployments is nice to have. Database operations experience with RDS, PostgreSQL, Redis, backups, and failover is nice to have. Prior experience in a high-growth Series A/B startup is nice to have.
