What you'll do
Develop and implement statistical methodologies to prepare and clean large-scale clinical datasets intended for AI model development and rigorous validation.
Conduct comprehensive statistical analyses for oncology studies, designing approaches for both retrospective observational data and prospective study elements.
Construct detailed statistical summaries, sophisticated tables, and precise figures to support internal strategic discussions, peer-reviewed publications, and regulatory submission requirements.
Perform meticulous verification and quality checking of existing analytical processes to identify discrepancies and ensure adherence to high standards of statistical integrity.
Maintain meticulous documentation of all analytical steps, assumptions, and decisions to guarantee full reproducibility and transparency of the research workflow.
Act as a key collaborator with multidisciplinary teams, working closely with professionals in Biostatistics, Artificial Intelligence, Clinical Operations, Product Management, and Regulatory Affairs.
Translate complex biological and clinical concepts into clear technical explanations, effectively communicating methodologies and results to diverse audiences with varying levels of statistical expertise.
Requirements
Possess a Master's degree or higher in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, Public Health, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
Demonstrate advanced proficiency in using the R programming language for statistical analysis, data manipulation, and visualization tasks.
Exhibit a solid understanding of fundamental statistical methodologies, probability theory, and principles of study design applicable to observational and interventional studies.
Showcase the ability to communicate highly technical statistical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Prove capacity to manage complex analytical tasks independently, demonstrating strong self-direction while successfully integrating feedback from senior team members.
Present a documented interest in applying biostatistical principles within healthcare, specifically within oncology, artificial intelligence, or clinical product development contexts.
Commit to adhering to ethical guidelines and data privacy standards relevant to handling sensitive patient health information in a research setting.
Display strong problem-solving skills when confronted with ambiguous or incomplete datasets, formulating logical approaches to derive valid analytical insights.

This is a full-time, remote position open to individuals authorized to work in the United States or Canada without requiring future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents of the United States, Canadian citizens, or permanent residents of Canada.
The engagement is structured as a fixed-term commitment initially lasting three months, with the explicit possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
The role operates on a full-time schedule, requiring dedication equivalent to 40 hours per week during the specified term.
All work activities will be conducted remotely, allowing for geographical flexibility across eligible locations within the United States and Canada.

You will be expected to integrate feedback rapidly and maintain a high standard of documentation for all analytical outputs.
