Account Manager, Arista Networks

We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our expanding Sales organization in Norway. This role requires a consultative sales approach to cultivate client relationships for enterprise named accounts while simultaneously developing new white space opportunities. You will bring deep experience working with Large enterprise organizations, the Public Sector, and Global businesses that have a footprint in the Nordic market.
Your primary remit is to win and grow both new and existing business across a defined portfolio of accounts. Your experience can originate from various verticals, including Transportation, Energy, Pharmaceutical, or Manufacturing. As a member of the Arista Sales team, you are the face of Arista to our customers; you serve as their internal champion for solving the problems they need to address. You will align Arista's technical resources to achieve your customer's business outcomes. You will partner with some of the most skilled Customer Engineers in the industry, along with Professional Services and Executive teams, to help execute on your customer's behalf. Our sales teams operate with a culture of team success, where you will collaborate and be supported by like-minded sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual bookings goals. Building pipeline is a core function, achieved by developing relationships with top-tier prospects, partners, and customers. You will manage and grow new customer relationships and the revenue associated with Arista data center and campus networking products.
Prospecting and developing new potential customers will be conducted via telephone. This includes qualifying and tracking leads, researching and identifying key contacts, placing calls to establish business relationships, qualifying new accounts, and making sales. You will participate in marketing program planning, development, execution, and measurement to ensure programs succeed according to plan. Interfacing with Arista headquarters is necessary to coordinate sales and marketing activity effectively.
Taking initiative in obtaining necessary training and certification on Arista products is required to maintain expert knowledge. You will monitor client satisfaction and elevate issues of dissatisfaction for quick resolution. Setting your own priorities and schedules to meet established goals and fulfill commitments consistently is essential. Other duties will be assigned as necessary by management.
Required Qualifications and Experience
You must possess more than five years of sales experience in the high-tech market or a background as a presales engineer with a desire to transition into a sales role. Your location must be in Norway. Fluency in both English and Norwegian is mandatory.
You must demonstrate a history of consistent sales achievement above target. A consistent track record for developing new business and managing a complex sales cycle, from generating leads to closing deals, is required. Core domain knowledge of networking solutions, network routers/switches, and selling into enterprise environments is essential. Demonstrated success with CXO and multi-level selling is expected.
You must be a highly motivated professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships are critical. Knowledge of competitive products, solutions, and services is necessary. Strong time management skills, the ability to multi-task, initiative, and follow-through are required. The desire and ability to move into a leadership position as the business grows is expected. A strong work ethic and commitment to integrity underpin all role expectations. Prior experience selling into Global 2000 Organizations is desirable. A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent is required.
