- Develop and execute a comprehensive merchandise planning strategy tailored to the Roark brand, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand accurately, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional calendars that align with product launches and seasonal trends, maximizing sales opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate product performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve assortment strategies and inventory turnover.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely product availability, addressing any potential supply issues proactively.
- Manage the product lifecycle from introduction to discontinuation, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and align with brand identity.
- Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify market gaps and opportunities for new product development or enhancement.
- Prepare and present merchandise plans and performance reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations for future strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure the best product quality and pricing.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandise planning or a related role, preferably within the ecommerce sector.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with merchandise planning software or ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
