You own the full client journey for U.S. Wealth at AQR Capital Management, guiding prospects and clients through a rigorous evaluation of how factor-based investing can serve their specific objectives. You translate complex academic research into clear, evidence-based narratives that resonate with sophisticated advisors and the families they serve. In this capacity, you challenge assumptions with data while upholding the firm's commitment to intellectual honesty and transparency in all discussions. Your analysis anchors long-term value creation for taxable investors across family offices and elite advisor teams in the United States. You act as a critical bridge between senior relationship managers and the internal experts who design and manage AQR's investment strategies. This role requires you to synthesize vast amounts of information into actionable insights that support thoughtful decision-making. You will operate with a high degree of ownership, ensuring that every interaction reflects the firm's standards of quality and integrity.

What you'll do
Provide senior relationship managers with comprehensive sales and administrative support for U.S. Wealth clients and qualified prospects.
Prepare in-depth analysis, client presentations, and tailored proposal materials that clearly communicate AQR's investment philosophy and process.
Update and maintain client records in CRM systems to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.
Deliver both inbound and outbound client support, addressing inquiries, clarifying documentation, and facilitating smooth communication.
Service existing client needs while quantifying the characteristics and potential of prospective business opportunities.
Send timely follow-up information to advisors and families, reinforcing key points and addressing outstanding questions.
Proactively utilize databases and sales reporting tools to help senior relationship managers effectively manage their assigned territories.
Collaborate closely with Portfolio Management, Portfolio Solutions, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Risk, and Trading teams to resolve complex client requests.
Develop a deep, working knowledge of AQR's product suite and underlying asset classes to answer detailed questions with precision.
Demonstrate a growing interest in the investment management industry and the evolving needs of advisors and their clients.
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at improving team functionality, service quality, and long-term client value.
Streamline internal workflows and communication channels to enhance efficiency and the overall client experience.
Support the development of materials that align with AQR's evidence-based approach and commitment to transparency.
Assist in tracking outcomes and feedback from client interactions to inform continuous improvement in service delivery.
Act as a reliable point of contact who reinforces the firm's culture of collaboration, openness to new ideas, and disciplined inquiry.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with preferred concentrations in Economics, Marketing, Finance, or Business.
Demonstrate a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding how investment strategies generate long-term value.
Show strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, using these tools to build clear models and visually compelling presentations.
Possess or be eligible to obtain FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, as these are mandatory for employment in this role.
Bring 1 to 2 years of relevant post-undergraduate professional experience in investment management, asset management, consulting, or an investment banking environment.
