What you'll do

Analyze complex behavioral patterns through detailed assessments to identify underlying functions.

Design customized intervention protocols that align with the unique needs and goals of each client.

Implement structured Applied Behavior Analysis strategies to facilitate skill acquisition and behavior reduction.

Partner with family members to gather history, preferences, and insights that inform treatment planning.

Work in conjunction with school staff and educational professionals to align goals with the learning environment.

Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations by safeguarding all client medical records and personal data.

Track quantitative and qualitative data to assess progress and guide clinical decision-making.

Adjust therapeutic approaches based on empirical evidence and changing client needs over time.

Promote a deep understanding of behavioral principles among team members through clear communication.

Stay engaged with current research, training, and developments in the fields of behavioral health and special education.

Document every session and intervention with precision to ensure continuity of care and legal compliance.

Champion the dignity and well-being of clients by fostering a supportive and respectful therapeutic atmosphere.

Serve as a reliable resource for colleagues and families seeking guidance on behavioral management strategies.

Requirements

You must hold current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

You must possess a Master's degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.

You must have a thorough understanding of behavioral assessment and data collection methodologies.

You must be able to interpret and apply HIPAA regulations correctly in all client interactions.

You must have experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

You must be proficient in using applied behavior analysis techniques to drive client outcomes.

You must have strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

You must be able to maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation at all times.

Nice to have

Experience in special education settings within school or clinic environments.

Familiarity with various standardized assessment tools used in behavioral evaluation.

Knowledge of ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

Ability to train and supervise junior staff or paraprofessionals in ABA techniques.

Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual service delivery methods.

Understanding of cultural competence and its application when working with diverse families.

Practical notes

This is a part-time opportunity. Travel is not required for this position. The role is based in a hybrid environment, allowing for a mix of remote and on-site work. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship for this role. The position is located in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
