About the role
This position is centered on the construction and ongoing maintenance of Apex's foundational operational platform. You will be responsible for architecting the central dashboard that drives efficiency, manages finances, and oversees purchasing across all departments. Your technical solutions will play a critical role in scaling the company's core processes as the organization expands. The role requires a hands-on approach to configuring and managing complex system integrations. You will work directly with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Success in this position depends on your ability to analyze intricate business problems and develop robust digital solutions. You will be a key contributor to the Operations, Strategy, and Administrative team's long-term technological strategy.

What you'll do
- Configure and deploy modules within the Palantir Foundry environment to meet evolving business demands.
- Conduct consultative sessions with business units to identify needs and implement suitable technological solutions.
- Oversee the daily operations, upkeep, and functionality of the Palantir Foundry platform, ensuring high standards of security and executing necessary updates.
- Lead the integration of new data sources into Apex's existing systems landscape, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Investigate and resolve intermediate technical questions that arise within the operational workflows.
- Author clear documentation detailing processes and procedures in collaboration with various business teams.
- Translate business process requirements into detailed project task plans for specific process areas.
- Analyze current solution conditions and propose targeted improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Serve as a technical resource for colleagues, providing guidance on best practices for system utilization.
- Monitor system performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive optimization initiatives.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to gather requirements and align on project goals.
- Maintain strict version control and configuration standards for all deployed assets.
- Assist in the development of automated scripts to streamline operational workflows.
- Support the testing and validation phases of new system features prior to full deployment.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by applicable export control regulations.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or demonstrate equivalent practical experience.
- Have 2 or more years of hands-on experience working with Palantir Foundry.
- Have 2 or more years of professional experience with Python, PySpark, or SQL.
- Bring prior experience implementing an end-to-end ERP solution system from conception to deployment.
- Demonstrate the ability to proficiently profile and analyze data, extract actionable insights, and work with diverse, complex datasets.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills capable of engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Show a proven capacity to quickly learn new systems and successfully develop and implement new system features.
- Adhere to best practices in software engineering, including code review, testing, and documentation.
- Maintain a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
