What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure solutions that support Anaqua's applications and services.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle, enhancing deployment frequency and reliability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process, ensuring seamless transitions from development to production environments.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to manage and provision resources efficiently.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated into the infrastructure design and implementation, safeguarding sensitive data and applications.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that enhance our platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with the IT team to manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal configuration and cost management.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity within the team.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical incidents and ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure management, or DevOps roles.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, particularly Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and best practices in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
