What you'll do
Define and drive the end-to-end DevOps strategy aligned with enterprise business objectives and technical roadmaps.
Architect, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on major public cloud platforms.
Establish and govern enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable, and zero-downtime software delivery.
Lead the design and implementation of Infrastructure as Code practices to ensure consistency, auditability, and automation.
Mentor and elevate the skills of DevOps and SRE engineers through hands-on coaching, technical reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Implement and optimize observability, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance targets.
Champion security and compliance initiatives within the DevOps lifecycle to mitigate risks and support audit requirements.
Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to embed scalability and operability into the design of all new applications.
Evaluate, prototype, and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and resilience of the operational stack.
Own the reliability and incident response processes to ensure rapid resolution and continuous improvement of system issues.
Drive the standardization of cloud environments to reduce complexity and operational overhead across the organization.
Collaborate with leadership to ensure infrastructure investments are aligned with cost optimization and business value goals.
Lead complex technical projects from conception through execution, ensuring delivery against strict timelines and quality standards.
Act as a subject matter expert and thought leader, representing DevOps practices in internal and external forums.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Bring a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering roles with increasing responsibility.
Demonstrate a proven track record of at least 3 years in senior, staff, or principal architect roles designing and implementing critical systems.
Show deep, hands-on expertise with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Possess extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar provisioning technologies.
Have a strong mastery of at least one major public cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and their core services.
Exhibit fluency in scripting and programming languages commonly used for automation, such as Python, Go, or Bash.
Show a history of building and operating large-scale, high-availability systems in production environments.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to security best practices and experience integrating security into CI/CD workflows.
Nice to have
Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio.
Proficiency with advanced observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
Knowledge of specific Anaplan technologies or domain context is a plus but not required.
Practical notes
This is a full-time position based in Gurugram.
Travel may be required as part of the role.
