What you'll do

• Develop and deliver engaging mathematics curriculum tailored to the needs of foundation-level students, ensuring alignment with academic standards and learning objectives.
• Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and collaboration.
• Assess student performance through various methods, including tests, quizzes, and assignments, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
• Utilize diverse teaching methodologies and technologies to enhance the learning experience and accommodate different learning styles.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty members to design interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enrich the mathematics foundation program.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• A master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field is required; a Ph.D. is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of teaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level, preferably in a foundation or remedial mathematics program.
• Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to convey complex ideas in an accessible manner.
• Proven experience in developing curriculum and instructional materials that meet diverse student needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
• Familiarity with educational technology and online teaching platforms is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• A commitment to professional development and continuous learning in the field of mathematics education.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
