About the role

Agilityfeat is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. As a UX/UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the design of our products, ensuring they are user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. What you'll do

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define design requirements and user needs for various projects.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design concepts, ensuring that user feedback informs the design process.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.
Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
Utilize design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite to produce visually compelling designs that align with brand guidelines.
Work closely with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and effectively, providing support throughout the development process.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance design skills and knowledge.
Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Assist in the creation of user personas and journey maps to better understand user behavior and improve overall user experience.
Analyze user data and metrics to inform design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create visually appealing promotional materials that align with product design.
Contribute to the overall design strategy of the company, helping to shape the future direction of our products.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a tech or software development environment.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including web and mobile applications.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Experience conducting user research and usability testing, with the ability to analyze and synthesize findings into actionable design improvements.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality design deliverables.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus, but not required.

Nice to have

Experience in designing for accessibility and inclusive design practices.
Knowledge of motion design and animation principles to enhance user interactions.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working within cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness.
Understanding of marketing principles and how design influences user engagement and conversion.

Skills & tools

Proficient in design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
Familiarity with user research methodologies and usability testing techniques.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design approaches.
Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
Ability to analyze user data and metrics to inform design decisions.
