About the role
AfterShip is seeking a dedicated partner to lead our sales enablement function and report to the Head of Sales. You will build and own the strategy for training, coaching, and cross-functional alignment to accelerate team performance and revenue outcomes. In this capacity, you will act as the central architect of sales readiness, ensuring that every member of the revenue team has the tools and knowledge required to succeed. You will own the end-to-end enablement lifecycle, from needs analysis through impact measurement, tying every initiative directly to business results. You will foster a culture of continuous learning and accountability, enabling the sales organization to operate at peak efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable managing detailed project plans and influencing senior stakeholders across the company. You will be the primary liaison between product, marketing, and sales, translating complex product updates into actionable sales behaviors. Ultimately, you will be responsible for creating a scalable enablement engine that drives sustainable revenue growth.

What you'll do
- Analyze current sales performance to identify specific skill gaps and define the roadmap for enablement initiatives.
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs that cover product launches, sales methodology, and go-to-market strategies.
- Create and maintain dynamic sales playbooks that provide messaging frameworks, deal strategy, and objection handling for AEs and BDRs.
- Partner with Solutions Architects to design and deliver pre-sales enablement that supports complex sales cycles.
- Develop and execute enablement strategies that align with outbound motions and directly support revenue targets.
- Implement coaching frameworks and performance tracking mechanisms to monitor individual and team improvement over time.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Product, PMM, and Sales to ensure the rapid adoption of new releases and features.
- Analyze CRM and outbound tool data to refine best practices and increase close rates and average contract value.
- Draft high-converting sales collateral and copy for outbound sequences and internal sales materials.
- Define key performance indicators for enablement programs and track their impact on sales performance metrics.
- Coordinate cross-functional enablement efforts to maintain consistency across the organization and share best practices.
- Collaborate with other Enablement Managers to standardize processes and ensure alignment with company-wide goals.
- Leverage data from Gong and HubSpot to continuously optimize training content and sales methodologies.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in sales enablement with a history of building programs from the ground up.

- Proficiency in CRM and revenue platforms like Gong and HubSpot is essential for success in this role.
- Experience in end-to-end product launch support and cross-functional collaboration with marketing and product teams.
- Analytical skills to use data for decision-making, performance tracking, and demonstrating the ROI of enablement.
- Strong presentation and communication abilities to facilitate training sessions and influence stakeholders.
- Must be based in Utah and able to work from the office 3-4 days per week as specified in the engagement model.
