About the role
AfterShip is seeking a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to transform complex datasets into growth strategies for our post-purchase SaaS platform. You will serve as the analytical lead for the marketing department, bridging the gap between raw data and actionable business decisions. In this capacity, you will own the development of sophisticated analytical frameworks that measure the true impact of brand campaigns and content marketing on key traffic sources, including organic and direct channels. You are responsible for mapping the end-to-end customer journey to identify and resolve conversion leakage points that hinder revenue optimization. You will create behavioral customer segments designed to assist product marketing and creative teams in refining messaging and targeting for specific audience groups. Furthermore, you will define critical KPIs for new feature launches and track adoption rates to refine target personas and improve go-to-market strategies. You will architect and optimize the marketing data warehouse by managing data flow from diverse sources such as ads, CRM systems, and product platforms to ensure data integrity. Finally, you will maintain a centralized dashboard that tracks performance marketing metrics alongside brand health indicators and product engagement to provide a unified view of marketing effectiveness.

- Establish data quality checks and governance protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability across all marketing datasets.
- Synthesize complex analytical findings into clear narratives and presentations for executive leadership and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data pipelines, schema design, and warehouse architecture for scalability.
- Lead the documentation of methodologies and analytical best practices to promote consistency and knowledge sharing within the organization.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, or data science, ideally in B2B SaaS or high-growth B2C environments.
- Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and web analytics platforms such as GA4, Heap, or Amplitude for comprehensive data exploration and visualization.
- Experience with HubSpot CRM to leverage its capabilities for marketing automation and customer relationship management.
- Strong foundation in statistical concepts including regression analysis, interpretation of p-values, and application of confidence intervals.
- Ability to work across global time zones 2-3 times per week to support international initiatives and collaborate with distributed teams.
- Fluency in English is essential for effective communication, documentation, and stakeholder management.

Compensation is offered as a competitive annual salary ranging from USD $157,000 to $180,000, reflecting the scope and impact of the responsibilities.
