What you'll do

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the functionality and performance of software applications.
• Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and develop effective testing strategies.
• Conduct manual and automated testing, identifying defects and tracking them through to resolution.
• Utilize various testing tools and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software performance, reliability, and quality metrics.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
• Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on best practices in quality assurance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate new testing techniques into our processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless deployment of high-quality software.
• Assist in the development of automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline testing efforts.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.
• Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and issue tracking tools like JIRA.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with mobile application testing and related tools.
• Knowledge of security testing practices and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and services.
• Understanding of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
