The Senior Social Media Marketer translates complex product value into clear, compelling stories that educate and engage. The role involves owning end-to-end social presence on key platforms while aligning with broader corporate messaging. What you'll do
- Own Abridge's social strategy across X and LinkedIn, with Instagram as a secondary platform, setting editorial direction, cadence, content mix, and quality standards for all published work.
- Build and manage two parallel social motions tailored to distinct audiences, developing separate voices, formats, and posting rhythms for the AI and technology community and the healthcare community while maintaining a coherent overarching brand.
- Run the employee-as-influencer program by identifying clinicians, researchers, and leaders capable of contributing authentic content, coaching them on platform-native writing, establishing clear operating models, and tracking the impact of their participation on reach and credibility.
- Write at volume and at a high standard, producing posts, threads, carousels, comments, and replies that serve as either first draft or final review, ensuring consistent quality across all published social content.
- Brief, capture, and create content across multiple formats, including storyboarding short-form video, directing shoots at events and in office settings, editing for speed when necessary, and collaborating with the Creative team for high-polish deliverables.
- Build community actively by engaging with intention, surfacing customer voices, amplifying relevant conversations, and hosting real-time moments around major launches and flagship industry events such as Conversation 2026.
- Use AI as a force multiplier throughout the content workflow, applying it to research, ideation, drafting, repurposing, editing, and scheduling while establishing best practices for responsible and effective use across the broader marketing organization.
- Measure what matters by connecting social media activity to brand lift, audience growth, engagement quality, and pipeline influence, bringing rigorous analysis and transparent reporting to evaluate effectiveness and guide optimization.
- Partner closely with Comms, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Events, and Growth teams, ensuring social media acts as the primary distribution layer for all other marketing initiatives and reinforcing cross-functional alignment.
- Maintain a deep understanding of platform-specific dynamics, algorithm changes, and emerging formats to ensure Abridge remains adaptive and ahead of industry conversations without compromising brand integrity.
- Represent Abridge in external discussions and industry forums, contributing thoughtful commentary that reflects the company's expertise in AI and healthcare while adhering to established messaging guardrails.
- Continuously test and iterate on content approaches, experimenting with new formats, hooks, and channels to identify scalable patterns that drive meaningful growth and engagement over time.
Requirements
- Six to eight years of experience in social media or content marketing, with a track record of building brands from a small footprint into a meaningful community.
- Demonstrated experience building social presence for a vertical industry audience and a technology or AI audience in parallel, showing comfort with both regulated sectors and fast-moving tech discourse.
- A portfolio that reflects consistent, high-quality social output, including examples of threads, posts, carousels, short-form video, and community engagement that demonstrate strategic thinking and execution.
- Strong written communication skills, with a clear, adaptable voice that can shift between technical depth and accessible storytelling while maintaining professionalism and clarity.
- Comfort working with data and analytics tools to track performance, run experiments, and report results, using insights to inform ongoing strategy and content decisions.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional partners, including product, design, legal, and executive leadership, to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- A bias toward action, with the ability to operate independently, make decisions quickly, and take ownership of ambiguous challenges in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
