Product Lead, Revenue Cycle Management
Job description
About the role
Abridge is seeking a strategic Product Lead, Revenue Cycle Management to own the vision and execution of 0-to-1 products that bridge the divide between payers and providers. You will own the end-to-end discovery, definition, and delivery of revenue cycle workflows powered by Abridge's clinical conversation data. This role requires you to translate complex stakeholder needs into clear product requirements while maintaining a deep understanding of clinical and operational realities. You will build and maintain deep partnerships with health system revenue cycle leaders and payers to ensure product solutions solve real-world friction points. The position involves shaping the roadmap for new products that shift administrative work left to the point of care without turning clinicians into coders. You will define what we build and in what order, balancing real-time intervention opportunities with efficient batch workflows. Ultimately, you will establish Abridge as a trusted partner in creating fewer denials, faster reimbursement, and better experiences for everyone involved.
Key facts
What you'll do
Define product strategy and roadmap for revenue cycle management workflows, identifying where Abridge's clinical data creates defensible competitive advantage.
Navigate complex clinical and operational workflows to design product experiences that shift administrative work left to the point of care while avoiding clinician burden.
Leverage domain expertise in healthcare and revenue cycle management, including the end-to-end claims lifecycle, payer policies, prior authorization requirements, and the connection between clinical documentation and reimbursement.
Drive enterprise partnerships with both providers and payers, collaborating closely with commercial leadership and clinical and revenue cycle leaders to validate product direction.
Translate complex, sometimes competing stakeholder needs from payers, health systems, and clinicians into clear product requirements that create mutual value.
Ship 0-to-1 products that deliver measurable impact by defining and executing on MVP scope with design partners.
Establish clear KPIs around administrative efficiency, time savings, reimbursement cycle time, and user experience to guide product decisions.
Build toward a defensible ROI story that demonstrates value for providers, payers, and patients through improved reimbursement outcomes and reduced friction.
Ensure deep integration with EHR, billing systems, and payer platforms to embed product solutions seamlessly into existing workflows.
Balance real-time intervention opportunities with operational batch workflows to optimize both clinician experience and administrative efficiency.
Use data and evidence to run discovery, form hypotheses, and iterate quickly when assumptions prove incorrect in live environments.
Create product narratives that help Abridge become the bridge between payers and providers rather than exacerbating adversarial dynamics.
Define success metrics for new products and work cross-functionally to achieve ambitious goals for revenue cycle performance.
Champion responsible AI deployment by ensuring products map AI-generated summaries to ground truth and build trust with providers.
Requirements
5+ years of product management experience with expertise in B2B healthcare products, ideally in revenue cycle management, health IT, or adjacent domains.
Commercial fluency with demonstrated experience working closely with sales, partnerships, or business development on early-stage deals.
Comfort with ambiguity, including running discovery, forming hypotheses, and updating quickly when you are wrong.
Strong cross-functional credibility to communicate effectively with ML scientists about model outputs, to lawyers about data use agreements, and to executive stakeholders about ROI.
Experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles and understanding how clinical, legal, and financial stakeholders evaluate new products.
Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement models, including value-based care, fee-for-service, and the impact of documentation on revenue.
Ability to define and prioritize features that balance clinician usability, payer requirements, and operational efficiency.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate product vision and negotiate alignment among competing stakeholders.
Nice to have
Experience working with health systems and payers on revenue cycle or prior authorization workflows.
Background in designing products that incorporate AI-generated clinical summaries into operational workflows.
Familiarity with healthcare compliance and data privacy regulations relevant to payer-provider data exchange.
