In this position, you will serve as a vital bridge between our product development teams and customer success initiatives, with a particular emphasis on identity security. Your role will be essential in validating and enhancing our identity threat protection solutions by engaging directly with customers and field teams. The insights you gather will play a significant role in shaping our product strategy, ensuring that our offerings effectively tackle real-world security challenges faced by our clients.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Spearhead the go-to-market strategy for the Identity Threat Protection product, guiding it from its initial concept through to its general availability in the market.
- Engage in live customer discussions to test and refine product messaging, while also analyzing competitive win/loss scenarios to distinguish between product limitations and positioning challenges.
- Transform insights gained from customer interactions into actionable recommendations for the product management team, ensuring successful approaches are documented for broader sales engineer enablement.

- Partner with product marketing to create and sustain effective messaging and competitive positioning for our identity solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product features and customer needs, facilitating a cohesive approach to product development and marketing.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs, ensuring our product offerings remain competitive and relevant.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops for sales teams to enhance their understanding of the identity product and its benefits.
Requirements

- Proven experience in working with products during pre-launch or early development phases, contributing to the establishment of initial go-to-market strategies or deliverables.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical identity discussions into clear, evidence-based narratives suitable for diverse audiences.
- Capacity to build credibility with technical buyers and security teams, comfortable presenting in both customer deep-dive sessions and internal roadmap discussions.
- Background in a field intelligence or outbound-focused role (e.g., SE, OPM, Field PM) where the main objective was to synthesize patterns and generate product insights rather than meet sales quotas.
- Proven track record of transforming field observations into documented recommendations that have influenced product or go-to-market strategies, supported by concrete evidence.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with account takeover (ATO), session abuse, or identity-related attack vectors.
- Previous participation in new product launches, early access programs, or beta testing initiatives.
