Total Rewards Analyst at Zuora
About the role
This role contributes to the effectiveness of Zuora's compensation and benefits programs. You will help refine, communicate, and manage competitive offerings that support all employees. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Total Rewards, you will collaborate with HR and business leaders to deliver excellent support and enhance the company's overall rewards structure.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Use technology to perform market pricing and create analyses for compensation structure mapping.
- Act as the primary contact for participating in compensation surveys.
- Support annual compensation processes, including merit increases, bonus plans, and promotions, by evaluating salary structures, recommending adjustments, testing compensation software, reviewing pay changes against budget and equity, and calculating bonus payments.
- Work with HR Operations to assist with benefits-related onboarding, offboarding, and general Total Rewards administration.
- Aid in the management of the annual U.S. Benefits Open Enrollment.
- Address and resolve benefits eligibility discrepancies.
- Manage benefits invoices, including reconciliation and coordination with vendors and internal teams.
- Provide initial support to employees regarding compensation and benefits inquiries.
- Help create and update employee communications, training materials, and benefits resources.
- Maintain documentation for compensation, benefits, time off, and leave of absence policies and procedures.
- Contribute to compensation and benefits projects, compliance efforts, and process improvements.
- Support leave of absence administration, including record maintenance in Workday, data consistency checks, manager coordination for approvals, and timely response to disability claims.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, global compensation, or global benefits.
- Strong command of Excel or Google Sheets, including advanced functions, charting, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative abilities to interpret data and offer informed recommendations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
Nice to have
- Experience with Workday, particularly Workday Advanced Compensation.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with compensation platforms like Pave or similar external tools.

Practical notes
- Pacific Time zone is preferred.
- Occasional travel may be required for team gatherings, events, or offsites.
