About the role

Zuora provides a platform for businesses to manage subscription models, usage-based pricing, and recurring revenue. As a Senior Solution Architect, you will join the professional services team to lead the design and implementation of our software for diverse clients.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Architect solutions using the entire Zuora product suite.
• Validate that proposed designs meet both stated and implied business needs.
• Audit technical deliverables to ensure they align with architecture standards and best practices.
• Create and present architecture documentation, including integration diagrams, ERDs, business process flows, swim lanes, and mock-ups.
• Communicate technical viewpoints and project status to stakeholders ranging from end users to CXOs.
• Provide expert services to Zuora partners.

Requirements

• Enterprise-level experience as a Solution Architect or Business Consultant within a technology consulting or product firm.
• Background in delivering complex ERP, billing, revenue, procurement, or CRM solutions.
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle, from initial workshops and design to build, testing, deployment, UAT, and final handover.
• Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
• Ability to lead business discussions, gather requirements, document use cases, and perform systems design.
• Experience with data migration, system integration, interface development, and reporting.
• Knowledge of accounting principles to facilitate effective communication with finance departments.
• Ability to handle tasks across multiple concurrent projects.
