Revenue Implementation Consultant at Zuora.
About the role
Zuora is hiring a consultant to manage enterprise-level deployments of our Revenue and Order-to-Revenue SaaS products. You will act as a bridge between technical configuration and financial accounting standards, working alongside architects and clients to deliver scalable platforms.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with client Finance, Accounting, IT, and RevOps departments.
- Conduct FIT/GAP analysis to align client needs with Zuora system capabilities.
- Create design specifications, user stories, and business requirement documentation.
- Build end-to-end Order-to-Revenue process flows and data models.
- Configure Zuora Revenue software to meet approved project designs.
- Lead Proofs of Concept, Conference Room Pilots, and customer demonstrations.
- Manage functional, integration, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Write SQL queries for data reconciliation and migration validation.
- Provide hypercare support during cutover and post-go-live phases.
- Advise clients on ASC 606 standards and revenue governance.
Requirements
- Background in Accounting with knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Experience with Order-to-Revenue workflows in major ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
- Practical experience with data conversion, revenue systems, and period close processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects within an Agile and Scrum environment.
- Strong communication skills for customer-facing consulting.
Nice to have
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in ERP implementation consulting.
- Prior experience implementing Zuora Revenue or similar revenue accounting tools.
- Background in subscription-based or SaaS revenue models.

Practical notes
- This is a hybrid role requiring 3 to 4 days per week in the Heredia office.
