Revenue Advisor

About the role

This position is within the Customer Solutions Engineering group, focused on helping clients and potential clients improve their revenue management. You will work alongside sales teams to address complex business issues and present Zuora's platform as the solution.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Become an expert in Zuora's products and services through dedicated training.
• Act as a trusted advisor for clients on automating revenue recognition processes.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand client business needs and design customized solutions.
• Deliver impactful product demonstrations and presentations to various stakeholder levels.
• Collaborate with Product Management to provide customer insights that influence product development.
• Work with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and other internal teams to support sales cycles and customer success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a comparable background.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Revenue Accounting.
• Proficient understanding of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 standards.
• Ability to translate intricate business requirements into clear, effective solutions.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging with both operational teams and executives.
• Demonstrated curiosity and a drive to master the quote-to-cash process.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a pre-sales or consulting capacity.
• Familiarity with Zuora Revenue (RevPro).

Practical notes

• Occasional travel within your sales territory may be required.
• Compensation range (OTE): $124,375 - $251,160. Base pay range: $99,500 - $193,200 USD.
