Partner Solution Architect

About the role

This position serves as a technical advisor within the Partner Delivery Success organization to guide partners through the design and execution of Zuora implementations. You will act as the primary technical lead to ensure high-quality delivery, mitigate project risks, and increase the technical proficiency of the partner ecosystem.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Lead technical discussions during discovery, scoping, and solution design phases.
• Validate architecture designs to ensure they align with business requirements and internal best practices.
• Review technical deliverables, including integration patterns, process flows, ERDs, and design documentation.
• Identify and mitigate technical delivery risks throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Provide technical oversight during build, testing, deployment, and hypercare stages.
• Identify partner capability gaps and support technical training and certification programs.
• Collaborate with Sales and Global Services to assess partner fit for specific customer opportunities.
• Communicate technical feedback from the field to internal product and support teams.

Requirements

• Enterprise-level experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Technical Consultant.
• Background in professional services, partner-led delivery, or product-focused consulting.
• Proven track record in delivering complex enterprise solutions such as ERP, billing, revenue, procurement, or CRM.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, systems design, integration, data migration, and technical documentation.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence internal and external leadership.
• Experience working with Finance stakeholders and aligning business goals with technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience working with System Integrators or consulting partners.
• Familiarity with partner enablement and practice development.
• Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience presenting architecture trade-offs to diverse audiences.
