About the role
Zuora is seeking an experienced technical contributor to join Z Labs, our innovation hub focused on building AI-driven product experiences. You will operate in a high-velocity environment to develop and scale solutions that address complex business challenges through machine learning and foundation models.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to apply AI and machine learning to business and customer problems.
- Partner with stakeholders to influence product strategy using data-backed insights.
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end machine learning models, including LLMs, using both structured and unstructured data.
- Work alongside engineering teams to create scalable data and ML pipelines.
- Manage projects from initial concept through to production, ensuring measurable business impact.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in data science or machine learning with a focus on end-to-end model development.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical or natural sciences field from a top-tier university.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across both technical and product/business teams.
- Strong leadership presence and communication skills.
- Hands-on coding proficiency in scripting languages and statistical modeling.
- Experience managing the entire machine learning lifecycle.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in SaaS, ecommerce, payments, or pricing industries.
