Senior Director, Public Sector Sales Operations

About the role

This executive position manages the operational framework for the public sector sales division. You will report to the SVP of GTM Operations and serve as a central point of contact for sales strategy, government procurement, and compliance.

What you'll do

• Direct operational strategies including resource allocation, territory design, and quota setting aligned with government procurement cycles.
• Manage the sales operating cadence by overseeing pipeline reviews, forecasting, and KPI reporting to identify performance gaps.
• Ensure all operations comply with government mandates such as FAR and cybersecurity regulations while maintaining audit readiness.
• Oversee contract lifecycles to guarantee SLA fulfillment and drive quality assurance for client retention.
• Mentor operations staff and coordinate with product, engineering, legal, and finance departments on organizational initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, cyber security, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive operations management experience.
• 5+ years of experience specifically leading public sector or government-facing operations.
• Deep knowledge of public sector procurement processes, compliance standards, and cybersecurity services.
• Proven ability to optimize operational processes across cross-functional sales teams and apply USA public sector knowledge to global strategies.
• Demonstrated history of using AI tools to improve workflows and problem-solving.
• Strong background in finance, process optimization, risk mitigation, and cross-group communication.
