About the role
Zscaler is launching an AI Security incubation team to address the security challenges enterprises face when deploying GenAI. We are looking for a Director to lead a group of Principal Specialists in driving revenue growth and technical strategy. This role reports to the Global VP and requires a leader capable of blending startup agility with the scale of our Zero Trust Exchange platform.

What you'll do
- Define and execute the technical go-to-market strategy in partnership with global sales leadership.
- Recruit and mentor a team of Principal AI Security Specialists.
- Develop standardized Proof of Value frameworks and reusable demo assets.
- Serve as a technical advisor for C-level executives regarding RAG, agents, and prompt workflows.
- Provide direct feedback from customer engagements to Product and Engineering teams to shape roadmaps.
- Drive high-value AI security opportunities from initial discovery to final close.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in a management role leading high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Zero Trust architecture, public cloud, data loss prevention, and cloud-native security.
- Understanding of LLMs, MCP, RAG, and agentic orchestration patterns.
- Ability to communicate complex technical value to Fortune 500 C-suite executives.
- Availability for up to 40% travel.
Nice to have
- Experience leading a technical sales team for an early-stage product or incubation project.
- Knowledge of model governance, compliance, and shadow AI risks.
- Proven track record of scaling a new product line to $10M+ ARR.
