About the role

Zscaler is looking for a Principal AI Security Specialist to help enterprises securely implement AI technologies. This field-facing position combines the skills of a Solutions Engineer with deep knowledge of AI models and data protection. You will advise Fortune 500 clients on integrating AI safely into their operations.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute technical sales strategies for AI security opportunities with enterprise accounts.
• Create and deliver customized demonstrations of Zscaler's AI security platform for both technical and executive audiences.
• Act as a subject matter expert on AI patterns like RAG and prompt workflows, guiding clients on preventing data exposure and unauthorized AI use.
• Provide customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.
• Build reusable demo assets and training materials to enhance the sales force's capabilities.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture, managing complex enterprise sales.
• Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Model Context Protocol (MCP) orchestration patterns, including their security implications.
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including Zero Trust, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), cloud-native security, and API integrations.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of explaining complex AI architectures and their business value.
• Proven ability to collaborate with various teams like Sales, Product, and Engineering in a fast-paced market.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with AI prototyping, including LLM APIs, scripting, and building AI applications.
• Direct experience helping companies deploy AI while managing data leakage, model governance, compliance, and shadow AI.
• History of creating high-impact field assets, workshops, and competitive content to support go-to-market teams.
