Zscaler is seeking a Principal AI Product Manager to shape the future of our customer success initiatives. This role involves defining the strategic direction and product roadmap for AI-powered solutions that enhance employee productivity and deliver significant business value. You will collaborate with various teams to translate complex business needs into intuitive, AI-driven products.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Establish the long-term vision, strategy, and product roadmap for AI within the Customer Success organization, aligning with company objectives.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to implement AI across Customer Success workflows, focusing on areas like productivity, knowledge access, decision support, and automation.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle for AI initiatives, from initial concept and development through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
- Work closely with Customer Success leaders, internal users, Engineering, UX, Data, AI Platform, and IT teams to transform user challenges into effective AI products.
- Make informed decisions regarding product priorities, balancing user needs, business impact, technical feasibility, and platform reuse.
Requirements
- Possess a strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience applying AI-driven solutions to improve outcomes in a professional domain.
- Have 10 or more years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years focused on AI-powered products, Generative AI, intelligent automation, or workflow intelligence.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to develop long-term product strategies and manage complex product portfolios.
- Exhibit a solid grasp of enterprise AI concepts and architectures, including LLMs, AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, evaluation methods, and agentic workflows.
- Experience in developing workflow applications, employee productivity tools, or internal enterprise products, using data to define key performance indicators and measure business results.
- Possess exceptional product judgment, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with a history of cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience in creating organizational adoption plans and change management strategies for AI applications that involve human oversight.
- Experience launching enterprise AI platforms, copilots, or agentic solutions for internal users at scale.
- Experience defining enterprise AI strategy, operating models, governance, and adoption frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of AI products, emphasizing systems thinking and reusable components.
