What you'll do

• Develop and implement product features utilizing advanced model APIs.
• Create and optimize retrieval and RAG pipelines from start to finish.
• Design systems for agent planning, tool utilization, and multi-agent coordination.
• Manage prompt and context engineering as a systematic practice.
• Integrate evaluations into the development process to ensure quality is actively measured.
• Enhance the cost-efficiency, quality, and responsiveness of AI features in a production setting.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure timely and reliable delivery.
• Oversee model-layer systems from initial design through to production implementation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in deploying LLM-powered features to production environments.
• Solid foundation in software engineering principles.
• Familiarity with retrieval, RAG, and agent frameworks.
• Proficiency with contemporary model APIs and associated tools.
• Ability to assess trade-offs related to quality, cost, and latency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
• Demonstrated history of producing high-quality technical work.

Nice to have

• Background in multi-agent frameworks or orchestration systems.
• Experience in developing or utilizing evaluation harnesses.
• Familiarity with programming languages and technologies such as TypeScript, Python, Node.js, or Postgres.
• Knowledge of fine-tuning or adapting models.
