About the role
Zocks is seeking a Senior Consultant to guide financial advisory firms in adopting our AI assistant. You will work directly with leadership to implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and business growth. This role is key to shaping how financial advisors serve their clients.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with home office, branch, or regional leaders at large Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), broker-dealers, banks, and insurance companies.
- Oversee the implementation of practice management solutions tailored to specific firm strategies and engagement goals.
- Drive the execution of strategic objectives, including the development of firm-wide programs and collaborative best practice content.
- Travel to client headquarters, industry events, and partner gatherings to lead practice management workshops and represent Zocks as a subject matter expert.
Requirements
- Possess 3-5 years of experience within an RIA, Broker-Dealer, Bank, or Insurance organization, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex industry workflows and the full client lifecycle.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of implementing scalable client processes and advisory-focused practice models.
- Proven program management skills, including building adoption initiatives and improving existing engagements, with experience launching programs that affect large audiences.
- Exhibit a consultative approach, comfortable leading discovery sessions, diagnosing operational issues, and collaborating on scalable solutions.
- Strong strategic storytelling ability, capable of translating complex data and technical concepts into actionable narratives for leadership and detailed work.
- Familiarity with the compliance, security, and integration needs of large financial institutions, including CRM and wealth management technology.
- Ability to operate independently, taking ownership and course-correcting as needed, while being comfortable with ambiguity.
- Possess strong data analysis skills, with the capacity to identify trends and translate them into clear recommendations.
- Confident in presenting to groups, including senior stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM platforms in a banking or financial services setting.
- Must reside in or be able to work core hours aligned with Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones.
- Must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IA, KS, MA, MI, NE, NJ, NV, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA, WI.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a startup or high-growth company environment.
- PMP or other relevant certifications.
- Fluency in wealth management technology platforms and data analysis.

Practical notes
- Travel is required approximately 2 times per month, with increased travel during spring and fall conference seasons.
- Interview process includes a 30-minute recruiter screen and up to three 30-45 minute video interviews.
