AI Workflow Automation Intern

About the role

Zocks is a venture capital-backed startup building AI tools for the financial services sector. We are seeking a university student to join our engineering team to develop and refine automated workflows for financial advisors.

What you'll do

• Create and manage agentic workflows using internal low-code and no-code tools.
• Set up system triggers, logic conditions, and entry points.
• Develop and optimize prompts for LLM-based tasks.
• Convert business requirements into multi-step, structured AI processes.
• Build prompt chains to ensure consistent AI performance.
• Perform testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of workflows.
• Tailor automation solutions to meet specific client needs.
• Partner with software engineers and US-based stakeholders to define project goals.
• Evaluate AI performance, troubleshoot edge cases, and refine system logic.
• Contribute to our repository of standardized AI workflows.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Hungarian university as a full-time student (nappali tagozat).
• Pursuing a degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Preference for students in their final year of study.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Hungarian.
• Ability to work on-site in Budapest (XI. district) Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.

• Prior interest or experience in the financial services industry.

Skills & tools

• Analytical and logical reasoning.
• Ability to map complex business processes into structured steps.
• Familiarity with AI agents, LLMs, and automation concepts.
• Attention to detail and structured problem-solving.

Practical notes

• Office attendance is required Monday to Thursday, with Friday as a remote day.
• The office is located in the 11th district, near the BME Campus.
• Compensation includes a competitive base salary, provided lunches on office days, and office snacks.
