About the role
This position focuses on building the technical foundation for Zip's ERP and integration ecosystem. You will enable internal technical teams, design clean solutions for complex customer environments, collaborate with the Product team, and establish top standards for all integration workflows, particularly within the Oracle EBS R12 ecosystem. Your work will be crucial in creating reusable integration assets and defining how Zip products interact with external systems for enterprise customers.

What you'll do
- Design, maintain, and update Zip's core Oracle EBS R12 integration templates to ensure scalable and repeatable customer implementations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to align integration templates with product architecture, field insights, and customer needs.
- Analyze intricate customer implementations to find reusable data mapping patterns and system details, converting unique solutions into standard internal assets.
- Support account teams during pre-sales by designing and validating integration architectures for smooth deployments.
- Define, document, and promote technical solution consulting best practices to raise the technical standard across all implementations.
- Expand your expertise beyond Oracle EBS, P2P, and financial systems to become a subject matter expert in integration architecture, data models, and Zip's App Studio across various ERP ecosystems.
- Approach technical challenges with an engineering mindset, designing solutions thoroughly once for effortless future implementations, balancing high-level architecture with direct API configuration and template modifications.
Requirements
- 6 or more years of hands-on experience delivering integrations with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 environments.
- Strong understanding of core Oracle EBS business processes, schema layouts, and data models, especially in Oracle Purchasing (PO), Payables (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
- Familiarity with standard Oracle EBS integration methods, including Open Interface Tables, Public APIs/PL-SQL Packages, Oracle Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG), and REST/SOAP services.
- Experience with XML / REST based endpoints and standard authentication protocols.
- Prior experience in ERP implementation, integration, configuration, or administration.
- Ability to explain highly technical information to audiences with varying technical knowledge.
- Comfortable working with API documentation.
- Comfortable testing and troubleshooting integration errors.
- Able to understand customer requirements and document information quickly with minimal supervision.
