What you'll do

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of the stablecoin wallet, from initial funding to final withdrawal. This includes defining and implementing the product vision and feature roadmap for pay-in and pay-out processes across our stablecoin network.
• Develop and launch new functionalities within the stablecoin ecosystem, adapting to evolving market trends and integrating new partners.
• Ensure the reliability and efficiency of fund inflows and outflows, aiming to minimize transaction issues and delays.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to maintain smooth daily operations, including monitoring, incident management, and vendor service level agreements.
• Navigate the regulatory environment, working with Legal and Compliance to ensure stablecoin offerings meet all licensing, anti-money laundering, and customer due diligence requirements in our operating regions.
• Drive user acquisition and engagement in key markets like Nigeria and Cameroon, balancing growth objectives with compliance and operational stability.
• Present regular performance updates, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Manage the balance between product expansion and regulatory or reputational risks associated with stablecoin products.
• Prioritize features and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the broader product portfolio.
• Partner with Engineering on technical decisions, including build versus buy strategies, security measures, and vendor risk assessment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in cryptocurrency and stablecoins, including practical experience with stablecoin rails, custody models, and large-scale stablecoin operations.
• Familiarity with fiat and stablecoin on-ramp and off-ramp mechanisms, including banking partners, liquidity providers, and conversion processes.
• Active awareness of developments in the stablecoin space, including new issuers, blockchain networks, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.
• Strong customer focus with a history of designing end-to-end user journeys.
• Proficiency in using SQL and analytics tools for data-driven decision-making, opportunity sizing, and performance monitoring.
• Experience managing operational processes, including incident response and vendor management, particularly in financial contexts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Proven ability to deliver results in fast-paced environments, comfortable with ambiguity and incomplete information.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and its application in professional contexts, including analysis, content creation, and process improvement.
• Practical experience using AI tools to enhance productivity, such as connecting information, drafting content, building frameworks, or generating insights from data.
• Strong understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, including effective prompting and critical evaluation of AI-generated output.
• Awareness of ethical considerations and responsible AI usage, especially concerning sensitive data and customer experience.

Nice to have

• Previous product management experience in fintech, payments, or remittance sectors.
• Knowledge of international payment regulations, particularly in African markets.
• Experience establishing new payment channels or integrating new vendors from the ground up.
• Personal connection to or deep understanding of immigrant communities.
