Join zeely as a Senior DevOps Engineer to take charge of enhancing and expanding the infrastructure supporting our AI marketing platform. We are seeking an experienced engineer who excels in managing complex, large-scale systems, designing dependable infrastructure, and contributing to our long-term architectural vision.

What you'll do

• Manage and enhance AWS infrastructure, including EKS, RDS, SQS, S3, and OpenSearch, to ensure high availability, scalability, and efficient resource use.
• Oversee and scale GCP environments for AI services and data analytics, utilizing services like BigQuery.
• Maintain supporting infrastructure on Cloudflare and Hetzner, covering networking and traffic routing.
• Implement and advance Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across cloud platforms for consistent and maintainable infrastructure.
• Improve Kubernetes production environments for high availability, autoscaling, and stable deployments.
• Refine monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to enhance incident response and system visibility.
• Implement and maintain Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and observability tools.
• Ensure the resilience of production infrastructure under increasing product demands.
• Contribute to the multi-cloud infrastructure strategy, focusing on AWS and GCP.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure reliability, and developer workflows.
• Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure expenses through FinOps practices.
• Participate in on-call duties to address critical infrastructure incidents.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional DevOps experience.
• At least 5 years of practical experience with AWS, including EKS, EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, and OpenSearch.
• Proficient in Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting, with a preference for EKS.
• Advanced experience with Terraform, including modules, state management, and multi-provider setups.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, including BigQuery, Compute Engine, or data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and security principles.
• Experience with production infrastructure management, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate / B2 level or higher.
• Fluent Ukrainian for internal team communication.
• Ability to work within Central European Time / Eastern European Time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloudflare, R2, or edge services.
• Experience with Hetzner infrastructure.
• Experience optimizing OpenSearch or ELK stack performance.
• Experience with AI/ML workload infrastructure in AWS or GCP.
• Experience with FinOps or cloud cost optimization.
• Prior experience leading DevOps initiatives or mentoring engineers.
